Dr. Novisky received her Ph.D. in Sociology from Kent State University in 2016. Her research investigates the implications of carceral contact on health and well-being, conditions of confinement, and criminal justice policy.

Monique Rich started her public service career with the State of Ohio Adult Parole Authority. While working at the APA for over 20 plus years, she obtained a wealth of knowledge in law enforcement and community service during her tenure.
